Building Business Infrastructure for Entrepreneurs

What we’re doing at Venlab

Initially, I was writing a long formal post about what we’re doing at Venlab. I had written a bit, breaking everything down, speaking a whole lot of grammar, but…I don’t know; it seemed like a sales pitch. So I’ll keep this brief, and plain.

What is it?

Venlab is an online platform where entrepreneurs can register a company, file their taxes, generate financial reports, and much more. Simple.

What are we doing?

We’re building Business Infrastructure. That’s the mission. The vision, however, is to create a future without friction for Entrepreneurs. A future where it’s simple to start and run a business. If you wanted to launch a product/service in a new region, it’s nothing but a few taps and clicks away. From setup to scale. We want to simplify the entire process.

The way companies are started today will differ from how they’re started in the future. The creator economy is already giving us a glimpse into that future. We’re building for that future.

Why Build It?

We’re betting on things that won’t change.

  1. To run a business, you’ll always need a legal entity. This is what a company is. We want to simplify the entire process of setting this up.
  2. Governments will always require taxes from businesses. This is part of how economies are built. Filing taxes isn’t all “futuristic” and “cool”, but it’s necessary. We’re simplifying the entire process of doing this as well.
  3. You’ll need a strong financial structure to build and scale your business. We’re bringing the necessary tools and resources to the front and centre so you can manage your business finances without having to spend $$$ on financial professionals.

What’s the Future?

We see a future where an Entrepreneur in Lagos, Nigeria is able to scale across Africa without going through a cumbersome process. A future where an 18Yo YouTuber can run a multi-national company with ease because he has everything he needs. A future where people from different parts of the world can come together to form a legal entity and conduct business in any region of their choice; launch marketing campaigns and so much more. All done by spending a fraction of the cost and time that it currently takes to do so. We intend to keep building until we see that future.

Selah.
